Why my Car is Sluggish

After having change oil in your car, you have the feeling that your car is acting weird; it is acting sluggishly. This happens when the engine find it difficult to breathe. When the engine is too clogged with dirt, there is not enough air coming through it, thus making it seem sluggish. In conditions as this, the air filter is more likely to be the culprit. The filter is responsible for purifying the air that goes inside the engine like dirt and some other pollutants. Now, when the filter is worn out, of course it won’t be able to act the way it should and as a result, dirt gets accumulated. To prevent your engine to get damaged every now and then, makes sure to replace it at least once a year and more often if you use your car very often especially when you have to trod a dirty or dusty road every now and then.

If you wish to give your filter a check before it can bring damage to your engine, you can just simply lift it out from its housing and have it under a strong light. When light can still go through the filter then it is still good and working but if it doesn’t then it is time to visit your local auto supply store.
